Timbercrest traditionally receives high marks in the inspections completed by the Indiana Department of Health and the Federal government. Timbercrest had no deficiencies in its two most recent inspections and no deficiencies in six of its last ten inspections. This regulatory success is evidenced by the excellent ratings documented in the State and Federal ratings programs.
Indiana’s Report Card System gives a numerical score to every Indiana long term care facility. The score is based upon the scope and severity of deficiencies found in the three most recent inspections. Like golf, the lower the score the better. Timbercrest’s exceptional score currently is 10. This is significantly better than the statewide average which typically falls in the range of 180-190. (The state average changes monthly.)
