Timbercrest IconFriends of Timbercrest

The Timbercrest Auxiliary was formed in 1972 to serve the residents of Timbercrest. In 2003, the organization changed its name to Friends of Timbercrest. Members of the organization support Timbercrest's ministry with older adults in many ways.

In addition to giving of their time and energy, Friends of Timbercrest members have successfully completed numerous projects that include furnishings for the Snack Shop, Chapel and the Crestwood Living Center; Courtyard landscaping and gazebos; a handicapped accessible vehicle; several pieces of equipment for the Wellness Center; and a six passenger golf cart.  Currently, Friends of Timbercrest is raising money to install automatic doors throughout the manor.  This will allow residents with walkers and in wheelchairs easier access in and out of the building.

Activities for 2012

Friends of Timbercrest has some great events planned for 2012!

Friends of Timbercrest is publishing a Memories cookbook to raise funds toward their current project of installing automatic doors throughout the manor.  We are asking individuals to share their favorite recipes and a memory they associate with that recipe.  Your recipe and story can be submitted through this website under "contact" or emailed timbercrest@timbercrest.org.  Your story must be 200 words or less.  All recipes and stories must be submitted by March 1st.
