The Timbercrest Auxiliary was formed in 1972 to serve the residents of Timbercrest. In 2003, the organization changed its name to Friends of Timbercrest. Members of the organization support Timbercrest's ministry with older adults in many ways.

In addition to giving of their time and energy, Friends of Timbercrest members have successfully completed numerous projects that include furnishings for the Snack Shop, Chapel and the Crestwood Living Center; Courtyard landscaping and gazebos; a handicapped accessible vehicle; several pieces of equipment for the Wellness Center; and a six passenger golf cart.

Friends of Timbercrest Days are scheduled for April 24 and September 25 in 2010. The theme for April will be, The Church has Talent.  During the morning individuals throughout the state will share their God given talents with attendees and educational opportunities will be offered during the afternoon session.  Throughout the day, tours of Timbercrest will be available as well as a food market.

Membership in Friends of Timbercrest is open to men and women of all ages. Annual dues are $3. Life memberships are available for $40. For information about the Friends of Timbercrest, call 260-982-2118, toll free 1-866-982-2118 or email sfrantz@timbercrest.org.
